RMG COLLECTION

What is the RMG Collection?
The RMG Collection is variety of handmade and handpainted wooden, paper, and fabric crafts. I try to recycle items and make them into something new. I also try to focus on making aesthetically beautiful and functional crafts. The reason why it's called RMG 'Collection' is because that I make a variety of the same crafts but each item is painted differently, uses different fabrics, and are one of a kind. I never make any of my crafts look the same because I want my customers to find something that is unique to them and call it their own. The RMG Collection is heavily inspired by nature, vintage styles, japanese and egyptian art, and the most obvious... colors and ornate patterns.

What does the 'RMG' in the RMG Collection mean?
The 'RMG' is my name: Reina M. Glorioso. The reason why I put the initials of my name is because I put all that inspires me into my crafts. I want to give a piece of myself and inspire other people with my work and hope that they enjoy the things that I enjoy as well. It's kind of like 'this is my collection that I want to share with everyone'. Haha I put all my crafting love into all of my pieces!

When did your business start?
I started my business around 2006 or 2007. I haven't really started to sell my items until the Fall of 2009. I know it too a long time! But it was worth it.

Do you make custom orders?
I used to do custom orders but I no longer do them.

What craft shows have you done?
I've only done one. And it was the St. Timothy Craft Fair in Chantilly, VA. I know... I've only done one but the turn out was great and it got me excited for future shows. I will be doing the 2010 St. Timothy's Craft Fair so visit my booth!
